Abstract. Blood as a liquid tissue of body, connects all organs, systems, and body with the external environment and reflects the physiological state of body as a whole. The article presents the results of the assessment of morphological and biochemical composition of blood of Arbor Acres broilers using Silaccess  feed  additive  at doses of 0.1%, 0.08%, 0.06% of the total diet. The introduction of Silaccess feed additive  into  the  diet of broiler chickens contributes to an increase in the proportion of monocytes in the[1]leukogram, which leads to an increase in the nonspecific resistance of the organism with the maximum manifestation of the effect in animals that received the highest amount of the feed additive - 0.1%. Among the biochemical indicators, significant changes affected triglycerides, the content of which decreased in all experimental groups ranging from 28.36% to 37.88%, as well as the level of urea and total bilirubin against the background of an increase in total protein and albumin.

Keywords: broiler chickens, feeding, productivity, morphobiochemical parameters of blood, silicon
