How to submit a manuscript

Manuscript for publication in the Journal shall be in electronic format (DOC).

 

Review

Articles received by the editorial office are checked using the program “Antiplagiarism”. The originality of manuscript should be at least 80 %.

1. Articles are reviewed in accordance with the «Regulations of the Institute for the review of the theoretical and scientific-practical journal «Animal Husbandry and Fodder Production».
2. The manuscript submitted to the editorial office is reviewed by the Editor-in-chief and the responsible secretary for compliance with the scope and requirements of the Journal during 2 weeks. Each manuscript is registered in the Log of the received manuscripts. After that it is sent for a review to a specialist (Doctor or Cand. Sc.) who works in the similar subject matter.
3. The review is confidential to authors of manuscripts.
4. The review is provided to the author by his/her written request. No signature, name, position, place of work of the reviewer is shown.
5. Review with reviewer’s name can be provided to the Higher Attestation Commission by the relevant request of experts.
6. The review period is determined by the responsible secretary of the Journal and agreed with the reviewer, the quickest publication of manuscript is appreciated. The review period shall be less than one month from the day when the reviewer received the manuscript. The final decision on possible publication and time is made by the Editor-in-chief after the review, and if necessary – by the Editorial board of the Journal.
7. The editorial board will inform the author about the decision by author’s written request. A written reasoned response is sent by e-mail, fax or mail.
8. The editorial board does not keep manuscripts that were rejected for publication. Manuscripts accepted for publication will not be returned. Manuscripts with negative reviews will not be published and are not sent back to the author.
9. The original reviews are kept in the Editorial office for five years from the date of their signing by the reviewer.

 

Publication Ethics

All articles should be free from fraud, false information and plagiarism. Data, tables, figures presented in other publications should be accompanied by references to these works and/or submitted to the copyright holder’s permission. Identification of intentional data misrepresentation serves as the basis for refusal in publication.
The group of authors should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the research work. Correspondent author must obtain permission from all authors to submit each version of document and any change in group of authors composition. Authors should report on their specific contribution to the research work being presented (for example, planning and conducting research, developing methods, providing newly created materials and tools, scientific analysis of data and discussion, participation in writing manuscripts, etc.). Authors should indicate all funding sources, as well as those who provided support and assistance in carrying out the research.
Authors and reviewers should notify the editor if the manuscript contains information on dual purpose results, so that the editor can conduct additional consultations if necessary.
All experiments with animals should be conducted in accordance with the principles expressed in Declaration of Helsinki (https://www.wma.net/policy/current-policies/)).
Authors should ensure that studies using recombinant DNA and GMO are performed in accordance with limitations of the national legislation of the country in which the study was conducted. The auther’s description of the materials, methods and data should be available to the readers to allow other researchers to repeat the work. It is recommended the including your data in public databases as much as possible. Cloned DNA, antibodies; strains of microorganisms, cell cultures, viruses obtained and used in work should be presented to other researchers at their request.
Authors are advised to deposit information on genes, gene constructs, microchips, amino acid sequences of proteins, nucleotide sequences, etc. in authorized databases (NCBI, etc.), indicating the number in the article.
Reports of typos and mistakes made by authors that do not change the main results and / or conclusions can be printed in journal at discretion of editorial office.

 

Publication

We recommend you to use the following rules while preparing your manuscript for publication in the Journal:
1) your manuscript should contain the results of research, theoretical insight, practical (innovation) studies;
2) The volume of the article should be at least 6-11 pages with margins: top, bottom margins – 2 cm, font – Times New Roman, font size – 14, interval – single.
3) The article should be structured: sections «Introduction», «The objective of the study», «Materials and Methods», «Results of the study», «Results and discussion», «Conclusion» in bold typeface. Materials and methods of research shall include by paragraphs: «Оbject of research»; «Сharacteristics of territories, climatic conditions» (generally, for agronomy and crop production); «Experiment scheme», «Equipment and facilities»; «Statistical processing»;
4) The title of the article shall be in capital bold letters in Russian and English; then after the interval – the initials and surname of the authors in Russian and English; name of the institution where the authors work in Russian and English; after interval and before the text of the article you shall place abstract (not less than 200 words – approximately 24-25 lines), keywords (no more than 10) in Russian and English; after interval article with tables and figures shall be given. The text should be have Russian letter “ё”, if any. If you have the characters %, °C, №, § a space shall be between them and numbers (in accordance with GOST 8.412-2002);
5) the index is determined according to the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC);
6) Graphic material (diagrams, figures, etc.) should be presented in a form that provides clarity of all details presentation, contrasted, designed by computer and allow further editing in “Microsoft Word” or “Microsoft Excel” programs. Graphic material is published only in black and white, but authors are provided in color in electronic form.
7) references are placed in the end of the article and must be in a list. They shall be in accordance with GOST R 7.0.5-2008 (see. Section «endnotes bibliographic reference»). The literature is given in alphabetical order of the authors ‘ names or the title of the article (if the author’s name is not specified or there are more than three), in the text – the reference numerals in square brackets [1, 2, 3, …]. The list should include no more than 15 titles;
8) name of the author shall be in the end of the article, name of the author in full, to indicate a degree, rank, position and place of work to address data, contact phone numbers and e-mail address for feedback.
If you cannot provide an English translation, the required information will be translated by Editorial.

Example of article

The following materials shall be attached to the article: • The receipt of the subscription to the journal for a half a year (a copy shall be sent by e-mail).
Publications of post-graduate students are free of charge.
The author shall sign the manuscript prepared for publication. Author assumes legal responsibility for the contents of the article, the accuracy of quotes cited in the manuscript, statistics and facts.
Articles that do not meet the requirements set out above are not considered by the Editorial board and will not be returned.
