Abstract. The article presents the results of a study on the effect of various dosages of activated carbon on productivity, hematological parameters, elemental status and economic efficiency of raising broiler chickens of the ROSS-308 cross. During the experiment, it was found that the inclusion of activated carbon in the diet at a dose of 2 g/kg of feed contributes to an increase in body weight gain, as well as an increase in protein content in meat and a decrease in the concentration of toxic elements in poultry tissues. At the same time, the main biochemical and hematological parameters indicated the safety of using this additive. The results obtained confirm the effectiveness of using activated carbon as an additive to increase productivity and environmental safety of poultry products.
Keywords: broiler chickens, activated carbon, hematological parameters, heavy metals, feed conversion
