Abstract. The paper studies the effect of a composition of ultrafine particles of trace metals Fe, Cu, Zn and Mn in a ratio of 2:2:5:3 on the productivity and physiological and biochemical status of ROSS-308 broiler chickens. During the main accounting period of 35 days, the birds of the control group (n=35) received complete compound feed PK-5-2 P-393 up to 28 days of age and PK-6 P-394 in the subsequent period. In addition to the basic diet, the experimental bird received a mixture of preparations of ultrafine particles of trace metals: iron, copper, zinc and manganese in a ratio of 2:2:5:3, in the experimental group I - 0.02 ppm, in the II - 0.07 ppm, in the III - 0.2, in the IV - 0.4 ppm and in the V experimental group - 0.8 ppm. According to the results of the experimental study, it was found that in the III experimental group, the body weight by the end of the experimental period exceeded the control by 5.6% (P≤0.05). The gross increase in live weight was higher than the control by 6.8% (P≤0.05), the average daily increase was 56.3 g, with a decrease in feed conversion to 1.32 kg/kg. In the morphological composition of the blood of the III experimental group, the content of neutrophils increased by 38.1% (P≤0.05), eosinophils by more than 2.2 times (P≤0.05), with a decrease in the number of monocytes by 50.5% (P≤0.05). Biochemical changes were characterized by a decrease in glucose concentration in individual experimental groups by 27.8-33.0% (P≤0.05), total protein by 37.0–43.2% (P≤0.05), an increase in albumin content in group V by 83.9% (P≤0.05) and AST activity in groups II-IV by 45.6-74.7 % (P≤0.05). The calcium concentration decreased by 42.3-57.7% (P≤0.05-0.01). The results obtained characterize the dose-dependent effect of the composition of ultrafine trace elements on the growth, productivity and metabolic profile of broiler chickens, with the most pronounced positive effect of a dosage of 0.2 ppm.
