Abstract. The study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of a comprehensive system of agrotechnical practices, which includes pre‑sowing seed treatment with a suspension of highly dispersed (HDP) particles of copper, cobalt, followed by foliar treatment of vegetating plants with a suspension of HDP of copper, zinc, and and magnesium, on the productivity quality characteristics of spring durum wheat (Triticum durum L.) varieties Tselinnitsa and Luch 25. During field experiments conducted in 2023-2025 on the basis of the Federal State Budgetary Research Centre of the BST RAS, a statistically significant increase in grain yield was recorded in all variants using pre-sowing Co seed treatment and subsequent leaf treatment of plants with Cu, Zn and Mg compared with the control, averaging 0.34 t/ha and an increase in the weight of 1000 grains per 7.2 g for the Tselinnitsa variety (up to 41.0 g) and 6.5 g for the Luch 25 variety (up to 42.0 g). A pronounced positive trend in the quality indicators of the grain was observed. The grain hardness increased by an average of 7.0% in the Tselinnitsa variety (up to 51.0%) and by 8.0% in the Luch 25 variety (up to 50.6%). The study revealed a noticeable increase in the content of raw gluten in the grain – a key indicator responsible for the baking properties. For the Tselinnitsa variety, this indicator increased by 8.1%, reaching 33.7%, while for the Luch 25 variety it increased by 9.7%, reaching 32.3%. Thus, the obtained results indicate the high agronomic and economic feasibility of the applied technology, the main goal of which is to reduce the need for conventional fertilizers and improve the quality of the final product. The data presented contribute to the development of resource‑saving and environmentally safe approaches to intensive farming, especially with regard to spring durum wheat.
