Effect of phytobiotics in the diet on zootechnical and biochemical parameters of broiler chickens

Abstract. The article is devoted to the evaluation of productivity and biochemical composition of blood serum in broiler chickens against the background of phytobiotic feed additives. For the study, 100 seven-day-old broiler chickens of Arbor Acress cross were selected, from which four groups were formed according to the principle of pair-analogue: Butitan phytobiotic in the dose of 500 mg/kg of feed was added to the basic ration of I experimental group, II - Oreganum in the dose of 200 mg/kg of feed, III - Probiocid-Fito in the dose of 1 g/kg of feed. The results of the study showed that phytobiotic feed additives are an effective method of productive traits formation in broilers. At the end of the experiment (at 42 days of age), the maximum value of live weight was reached when oregano was fed, which was 8.66% higher than the control values (P≤0.05). In the group receiving Butitan, the weight of the birds increased by 5%, and in the group receiving Probiocid-fito, by 3.7% compared to the control values. The use of phytobiotic feed additives is a promising direction that can be recommended for implementation in poultry farming practice.
